Introduction
This section is a place where I share some of the sustainability projects that are quietly making a difference around our coasts and waterways. They’re the kind of initiatives that highlight how much can be achieved when people come together with a shared respect for the sea.
From the hands-on work of Wreck Free Fal and Helford, helping to remove abandoned vessels and protect fragile estuaries, to the community-driven efforts of Plastic Free Falmouth, part of the wider Plastic Free Communities movement, each project offers a hopeful glimpse of what’s possible. I hope by sharing them, it encourages us all to look a little closer at the places we sail, and play a small part in caring for them too.
